1(37:2)O Lord, rebuke me not in thy wrath: neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.

2(37:3)For thine arrows stick fast in me, and thy hand presseth me sore.

3(37:4)There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.

4(37:5)For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me.

5(37:6)My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness.

6(37:7)I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.

7(37:8)For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease: and there is no soundness in my flesh.

8(37:9)I am feeble and sore broken: I have roared by reason of the disquietness of my heart.

9(37:10)Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee.

10(37:11)My heart panteth, my strength faileth me: as for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me.

11(37:12)My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my sore; and my kinsmen stand afar off.

12(37:13)They also that seek after my life lay snares for me: and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and imagine deceits all the day long.

13(37:14)But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and I was as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth.

14(37:15)Thus I was as a man that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs.

15(37:16)For in thee, O LORD, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God.

16(37:17)For I said, Hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice over me: when my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me.

17(37:18)For I am ready to halt, and my sorrow is continually before me.

18(37:19)For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.

19(37:20)But mine enemies are lively, and they are strong: and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied.

20(37:21)They also that render evil for good are mine adversaries; because I follow the thing that good is.

21(37:22)Forsake me not, O LORD: O my God, be not far from me.

22(37:23)Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation.

2Domine ne in ira tua arguas me neque in furore tuo corripias me

3quia sagittae tuae infixae sunt mihi et tetigit me manus tua

4non est sanitas in carne mea a facie indignationis tuae non est pax ossibus meis a facie peccati mei

5quia iniquitates meae transierunt caput meum quasi onus grave adgravatae sunt super me

6conputruerunt et tabuerunt cicatrices meae a facie insipientiae meae

7adflictus sum et incurvatus nimis tota die maerens ambulabam

8quia lumbi mei repleti sunt ignominia et non est sanitas in carne mea

9evigilavi et adflictus sum nimis rugiebam a gemitu cordis mei

10Domine in conspectu tuo omne desiderium meum et gemitus meus a te non est absconditus

11cor meum fluctuabat dereliquit me fortitudo mea et lux oculorum meorum etiam ipsa non est mecum

12cari mei et amici mei quasi contra lepram meam steterunt et vicini mei longe steterunt

13et inruebant quaerentes animam meam et investigantes mala mihi loquebantur insidias et dolos tota die meditabantur

14ego autem quasi surdus non audiebam et quasi mutus non aperiebam os meum

15et eram quasi homo non audiens nec habens in ore suo redargutiones

16te enim Domine expectabam tu exaudies Domine Deus meus

17quia dixi ne forte insultent mihi et cum vacillaverint pedes mei super me magnificentur

18quia ego ad plagas paratus et dolor meus contra me est semper

19quia iniquitatem meam adnuntio sollicitus ero pro peccato meo

20inimici autem mei viventes confortati sunt et multiplicati sunt odientes me mendaciter

21et qui reddunt malum pro bono adversabantur mihi quia sequebar bonum

22ne derelinquas me Domine Deus meus ne elongeris a me

23festina in auxilium meum Domine salutis meae
